Getting here
We are an oasis of community and calm that is nestled in the midst of Hong Kong’s tall buildings but we are not easily visibly from the street and good things can be hard to find. The Synagogue’s address is 70 Robinson Road and this is the same address for Robinson Place, a two tower forty-seven story residential complex. The entrance to the Synagogue (and JCC) is through the roundabout walkway / driveway for Robinson Place. Slightly to the left one will see a guard station and this is way to reach us.
By taxi:
Tell the driver you want to go to “Loh-bin-sun Dough, chut-sup hao.”
On foot:
If you are coming from Central, use the Mid-levels escalator which has an exit/entry point on Robinson Road. After exiting onto Robinson Road, make a right and walk, there will be one road to cross and soon 70 Robinson Road will appear. The walk from the exit / entry point to the Synagogue is mostly flat and takes 5-7 minutes.
Please note the escalator operates in one direction at a time. It starts moving from Central to Robinson Road at 10am, prior to that time it runs in the reverse direction.
